Fair Hill International is dedicated to offering the best eventing competitions and learning opportunities for all levels of riders.  We also host an endurance ride and a combined driving event.  For all the details, please visit our website:
It IS Spring, right?  The 92 competitors who started the Foxcatcher Endurance ride on Saturday morning would completely disagree.  They endured, for certain, through cold and rain and snow and wind.  Our amazing crew of vets and volunteers kept the ride running smoothly even when Mother Nature didn't want to cooperate.  It was certainly a memorable first event of the season!
Aimee Hall and Thistle Deu (top left) won the 25 mile ride in 2 hours and 20 minutes.  Samantha Sandler's VJ Sage took home the Best Conditioned Award for the 25 mile ride.  Steven Rutkiewic rode Lana Wright's Mind of His Own (top right) to win the 50 Mile Ride in 5 hours and 9 minutes, and "Mind" also took home the Best Conditioned Award.  Kim Lyttle and Khan's Magic Piper (bottom right) became part of the American Endurance Ride Conference's "Decade Team," meaning the pair have completed at least one 50 mile ride every year for the last ten years.  Quite an accomplishment!  Kim and Magic always compete at Foxcatcher, and we were delighted that Fair Hill was the venue where they achieved "Decade Team" status.

A full list of the Foxcatcher results, along with plenty of pictures, can be found HERE.

Next up - our first Horse Trials of the Year!

We're in the last week of planning for our April Recognized Horse Trials and CIC.  The Entry Status is posted here - see if your favorite horse and rider are going to be at Fair Hill, and then come watch!  Or, better yet - VOLUNTEER!  This is a big and very busy event - Bodgie needs all hands on deck to make it run smoothly.

We're hoping to see all of you on Friday evening, April 22, during the April Horse Trials - join us from 5 - 7PM for Tapas and Cocktails!  There will be a Silent Auction and a Live Auction.  Tickets are available at the door, for a donation of $20 or more.  All proceeds from this event will go to the Area 2 NAYJRC team.
